Legends are pleased to offer this superb FIA Cooper S, retaining its original shell, fully documented and maintained to the highest standards.
Built from an original Cooper S road car in 1997 thru 1999 as a historic rally car.
Contested the inaugural British Historic Rally Championship in 2000 plus Ypres 24 hours in Belgium. Development car for Minispeed (still featured in their catalog).
Completely rebuilt again in 2002.
Occasional rallies and sprints 2002 to 2009.
Silverstone Classic 2009 Mini Race winner on handicap (televised).
2009 -2010 redeveloped into ultimate FIA race car by Gerald Dale Motorsport.
2013 - 2017 HSCC pre 1966 events.
Last outing was at the 2017 Croft Nostalgia weekend driven by Mark Hales where a great battle ensued against two Cortina’s eventually prevailing and beating them both. This is the only event participated in since a full engine and gearbox rebuild by Phil Hepworth.
